Kirkland Represents Insignia Ventures on Second VC Fund

Kirkland & Ellis advised Insignia Ventures of raising and closing its second VC fund. Insignia Ventures is an early stage technology venture fund based in Singapore dedicated to growing the most influential companies in Southeast Asia. The Fund is significantly oversubscribed and holds its first and final closing at its hard cap of US$200 million. The Fund’s investor base comprises of premier institutional investors including prestigious university endowments, sovereign wealth funds, foundations, renowned family offices and fund of funds from Asia, North America and Europe.
 
The Kirkland team was led by investment funds partner Carol Liu and included investment funds partner Josh Westerholm, tax partner Aalok Virmani and employee benefits partner Elizabeth Dyer.
