Kirkland Counsels Primexx on Sale of Produced Water Gathering, Disposal System to WaterBridge

Kirkland & Ellis represented Primexx Energy Partners in the sale of their produced water gathering and disposal infrastructure system in the Delaware Basin to WaterBridge Midstream for an undisclosed amount and execution of a long-term produced water management agreement with WaterBridge.

The Kirkland team was led by transactional partner Chad Smith and associates Will Eiland and Isaac Bate, with assistance from tax partner Mark Dundon and associate Joe Tobias; environmental transactions partner Jonathan Kidwell and associate James Dolphin; and antitrust partners Ellen Jakovic and Carla Hine.

In addition to the Primexx transaction, Kirkland also represented Jetta Permian in a similar sale of a produced water gathering and disposal system and execution of long-term produced water management agreement with WaterBridge earlier this year.
