Kirkland Represents Eastern Bell Capital on First USD Fund

Kirkland & Ellis advised Eastern Bell Capital (“Eastern Bell”) on the raising and closing of its first USD fund, Eastern Bell Capital Fund I (the “Fund”).
 
Eastern Bell is an ecosystem-based fund concentrating on “improving industrial efficiency with supply chain as its core competence” and focuses its investments in the logistics, supply chain, retain and brand, and data technology sectors. The Fund has significantly exceeded its target size and increased its original hard cap with aggregate capital commitments of US$365 million. The Fund’s investor base comprises of global institutional investors including sovereign wealth funds, pensions, foundations, large family offices and fund of funds.
 
The Kirkland team was led by investment funds partners Carol Liu and Jennifer Feng, and included investment funds partners Michael Chu and Romin Dabir, tax partner Alec Campbell and capital markets partner Paul Zier.
