Kirkland Represents Lion Group in NASDAQ Listing
Kirkland & Ellis has advised Lion Group Holding Ltd. (NASDAQ: LGHL), a Hong Kong-based diversified financial services company, in going public in the United States through a business combination with Proficient Alpha Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company listed on Nasdaq.
The Kirkland team was led by transactional partners David Zhang and Ben James in Hong Kong and James Hu in New York. The team also included capital markets partners Christian Nagler in New York and Brooks Antweil in Houston, and tax partner Dean Shulman in New York.
