Kirkland Represents Madison Dearborn Partners on Acquisition of Benefytt Technologies

Kirkland advised funds affiliated with Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC, a leading private equity firm, on the acquisition of Benefytt Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: BFYT), a health insurance technology company and leading distributor of Medicare-related health insurance plans, in an all-cash transaction. Following completion of the transaction, Benefytt will become a private company, substantially owned by the MDP Funds, and will no longer be traded on Nasdaq Global Select Market. The closing of the acquisition is subject to customary conditions and is expected to occur in the third quarter of this year.
