Kirkland Represents Bain Capital and Vista Equity Partners in Vertafore Sale

Kirkland & Ellis represents Vertafore, the leader in modern insurance technology, which today announced that it will be acquired by Roper Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ROP), a leading diversified technology company. Roper will acquire Vertafore from Vista Equity Partners and Bain Capital Private Equity in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $5.35 billion. The acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter, subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.
