Kirkland Represents PowerSchool in Three Recent Acquisitions

Kirkland advised PowerSchool, a portfolio company of Vista Equity Partners and Onex Corporation, and a leading provider of K-12 education technology solutions, on its acquisition of Hoonuit, a leading K-12 data management and analytics company. The transaction was announced on Oct. 29, 2020 and the deal value is confidential.

The Hoonuit transaction is Kirkland’s third acquisition for PowerSchool in just over a year. In September 2019, Kirkland led the acquisition of AccelaSchool, a developer of an online data management system, and in November 2019, Kirkland led the acquisition of Schoology, a leading K-12 learning management system.
