Kirkland Represents Health Assurance Acquisition Corp. on $500 Million IPO
Kirkland & Ellis advised Health Assurance Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company, in connection with its initial public offering of SAILâ„ (Stakeholder Aligned Initial Listing) securities. The SAILâ„ securities are listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market and began trading under the ticker symbol “HAACU” on November 12, 2020. The company, sponsored by venture capital firm General Catalyst, is a newly organized blank check company formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses or entities in the health assurance space.
