Kirkland Advises HGGC on Acquisition of Specialist Risk Group

Kirkland & Ellis advised HGGC, a leading middle-market private equity firm, on its agreement to acquire Specialist Risk Group, a specialist insurance broker, from Pollen Street Capital. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2021, subject to regulatory approval. 

The Kirkland team was led by transactional partners Rebecca Villarreal and David Holdsworth with associates Jack Donelan and Christopher Weale, debt finance partner Evgeny Zborovsky and tax partner Dulcie Daly.
