Kirkland Advises Oaktree on $100 Million Investment
Kirkland & Ellis counseled Oaktree Capital Management L.P. on its investment of $100 million in preferred equity in BKV Corporation, following BKV’s acquisition of Devon Energy Corporation‘s (NYSE: DVN) assets in the Barnett Shale.
The Kirkland team was led by transactional partners Adam Larson, Jhett Nelson and David Thompson and associates Key Hemyari and Tori Newton; and tax partners Michael Beinus and Vivek Ratnam.
