Kirkland & Ellis advised Evercore as financial advisor to Nuance Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: NUAN) on Nuance’s sale to Microsoft Corp (Nasdaq: MSFT) in an all-cash transaction valued at $19.7 billion. Nuance is a trusted cloud and AI software leader representing decades of accumulated healthcare and enterprise AI experience. The deal is expected to close by the end of this calendar year and is subject to customary closing conditions.
