Kirkland Represents EQT Infrastructure on $5.3 Billion Acquisition of Covanta Holding Corporation
Kirkland & Ellis advised EQT, a purpose-driven global investment organization, on EQT Infrastructure’s acquisition of Covanta Holding Corporation (NYSE: CVA), an owner and operator of Waste-to-Energy facilities in North America, in a transaction valued at $5.3 billion. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and approvals and is expected to close by year end 2021.
