Kirkland Counsels Slant Energy II on Partnership with Pearl Energy Investments

Kirkland & Ellis advised Slant Energy II, LLC, a newly-formed upstream oil and gas exploration and production company, on its partnership with Dallas-based Pearl Energy Investments, a private oil and gas investment firm, which includes a $90 million commitment from Pearl to Slant II. Slant II will pursue upstream development and acquisition opportunities focused in the Permian Basin as well as North Texas and East Texas.
