Kirkland Counsels CleanCapital on its Acquisition of BQ Energy

Kirkland & Ellis advised CleanCapital, an industry-leading clean energy investment platform, on its acquisition of BQ Energy (BQE), a national leader in landfill and brownfield renewable energy development. BQE will be an independently operated subsidiary of CleanCapital following the acquisition, with CleanCapital funding the development of projects in BQE’s long-term pipeline, which includes late-stage development solar projects totaling over 300 MW and mid-stage development solar projects totaling more than 700 MW.
