Kirkland Advises Devon Energy on LNG Export Partnership with Delfin Midstream
Kirkland & Ellis is advising Devon Energy Corp. (NYSE: DVN) on its liquefied natural gas (LNG) export partnership with Delfin Midstream, which includes: (1) a long-term tolling agreement providing Devon with 1.0 to 2.0 million tons per annum of liquefaction capacity in Delfin’s first and future floating LNG vessels and; (2) a strategic equity investment by Devon in Delfin Midstream prior to Financial Investment Decision (FID) for the first floating LNG vessel and options for Devon to invest additional equity in Delfin following FID.
