Kirkland & Ellis is excited to announce that Alex Amos will join the Firm as a partner in the Investment Funds Group.

Mr. Amos’ practice focuses on structuring alternative investment funds, with an emphasis on credit funds. He also has experience with real asset and other strategies across a variety of fund products including funds-of-one, managed accounts, joint ventures, pledge funds and co-investment vehicles. Additionally, he counsels clients on investment management arrangements and team incentive schemes.
“Alex’s experience with fund sponsors and investors on structuring credit funds, in particular, will be very beneficial to our clients, which include some of the most sophisticated firms in the world,” said Anand Damodaran, an investment funds partner based in London.
Mr. Amos was previously a partner at Macfarlanes LLP.
