Kirkland Adds Top Luxembourg Funds and Regulatory Lawyer Thibaut Partsch

Kirkland & Ellis announced today that Thibaut Partsch is joining the Firm as a partner in the Investment Funds Group in London.

Mr. Partsch advises investment fund sponsors on the structuring and operation of private equity, credit, infrastructure and real asset funds.

“Thibaut will have an immediate impact on our funds offerings as he will focus on serving clients with Luxembourg-based vehicles,” said Erica Berthou, Kirkland Executive Committee member and a partner in the Firm’s Investment Funds Group. “Thibaut will also be responsible for leading more centralized, streamlined and efficient coordination between Kirkland and the various preeminent independent Luxembourg-based law firms with which we will continue to work closely on Luxembourg law and regulatory matters.”

Mr. Partsch has been recognized by Chambers Europe, Legal 500 and IFLR1000. He is a member of the Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association. He is the co-author of The Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (Kluwer) and The Luxembourg Partnerships (Larcier). He is also an adjunct lecturer at the University of Luxembourg, Master in Investment Funds Law.
