Kirkland & Ellis Adds Private Equity Veteran Gary Levin as Chief Operating Officer
Kirkland & Ellis announced today that Gary Levin has joined the Firm as Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Levin brings more than two decades of experience in the private equity industry, where he focused on enhancing company strategy and overseeing portfolio company operations. Prior to joining Kirkland, Mr. Levin was a managing director at Blackstone, a partner at Ares Management and a partner at EIV Capital.
As COO, Mr. Levin will work with the partnership to help execute on Kirkland’s strategic priorities and will oversee the Firm’s global business and administrative functions, which include more than 3,500 administrative staff worldwide.
