Kirkland Represents Cathay Life Insurance on Sale of LP Interests in Seven Private Funds

Kirkland & Ellis advised Cathay Life Insurance Co., Ltd., an Asian life insurance company, on the sale of limited partner interests in seven private funds, with the total amount of the portfolio of around $212 million.

The Kirkland team included investment funds lawyers Carol Liu, Mack Wan and Yeshu Yang; and tax lawyers Christopher Odell, Brandon Short and Christian Ekins.
