Kirkland Advised Solum Partners on Strategic Investment in Greenyard Alongside the Deprez Family
Kirkland & Ellis is advising Solum Partners, a specialist investment firm focused on vertically integrated food and natural capital businesses, on its majority investment in Greenyard NV, a global leader in fresh, frozen and prepared produce with more than €5 billion in annual revenue, following a takeover bid. The investment is in partnership with Greenyard’s founders, the Deprez Family.
Greenyard was delisted from the Euronext Brussels in September and represents one of the most significant private investments in the European produce sector in recent years. The takeover bid closing price implies an equity value of Greenyard of approximately €380 million.Read Solum Partners’ press release
