Kirkland Advised Apax Funds on Financing for Acquisition of Gerresheimer's Pharmaceutical Packaging Businesses

Kirkland & Ellis advised Apax Funds, the global private equity firm, on the financing for its acquisition of Centor US Holding Inc. and Gerresheimer’s global primary packaging plastics (PPP) business from Gerresheimer AG. The purchase price for the two business units combined is based on an enterprise value of approximately €1.5 billion.

The transactions are subject to customary closing conditions and approvals. The sale of Centor is expected to close by the end of financial year 2026, while the sale of the global PPP business is expected to close in the first half of financial year 2027.
