Kirkland Advises General Atlantic’s Atlantic Park Fund as Convertible Loan Holder on Partnership between Cheplapharm and Sanofi
Kirkland & Ellis has advised General Atlantic’s Atlantic Park fund, as holder of convertible loans in Cheplapharm, in connection with Cheplapharm’s takeover of a portfolio of 20 mature medicines and three manufacturing facilities from Sanofi. In return, Sanofi will receive a 26.4% equity stake in Cheplapharm.
Cheplapharm is a European family-owned pharmaceutical company based in Germany, specializing in well-established originator medicines. Atlantic Park first invested in Cheplapharm in 2022.
