Overview

Nikhil Krishnan is an IP litigator focusing on patent and trade secret litigation in federal courts around the country, as well as in the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) and Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).

Nikhil has extensive experience representing clients in all aspects of litigation, including pre-suit investigations through trial and appeal. With a background in electrical engineering and computer science, Nikhil is frequently involved in transforming complex technical issues into judge-and-jury friendly case theories. Nikhil has represented both large and small companies in cases involving a wide variety of technologies, including semiconductor chip design, networking devices, online advertising, e-commerce, enterprise software, video conferencing, garage door operators, and biopharmaceutical production. Nikhil also has experience litigating contractual disputes arising from data breach incidents.

Nikhil also has an active pro bono practice. He has assisted small businesses and non-profits with intellectual property strategy, represented veterans seeking benefits before the Board of Veterans Appeals, and represented an incarcerated client in his claim against the state and related parties for a violation of the Eight Amendment.
