Overview

Diana Browne is a member of the Structured Finance & Structured Private Credit Practice Group in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She has many years of experience representing a variety of types of financial institutions in connection with asset securitization, (primarily RMBS), sales of performing and non-performing mortgage loans, mortgage loan servicing, purchases and sales of mortgage loan servicing rights, mortgage loan repurchase and warehouse facilities, repurchase facilities for Ginnie Mae/Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac servicing advances and excess servicing spreads, purchase and sale of mortgage companies, Ginnie Mae/Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac programs and state and federal regulatory issues relating mortgage loan servicing. Her career has included service in the HUD general counsel’s office and the Freddie Mac legal department, as well as work in other law firms.
