The A-List 2017

For the fifth year in a row, Kirkland & Ellis has been named to The American Lawyer’s A-List. The A-List aims to identify the country’s most well-rounded law firms via a measure of their success in five areas: financial performance, pro bono, diversity, associate satisfaction, and the percentage of women in the equity partnership. To determine the A-List, scores are pulled from surveys that rate Am Law 200 firms’ performances in these areas. The total score is calculated by doubling each firm’s RPL and pro bono scores and adding those to the firms’ associate satisfaction, diversity and women in the equity partnership scores. The 20 top-scoring firms comprise the A-List.
