IFR Awards 2017

Kirkland & Ellis advised on two transactions named “Deal of the Year” at the International Financing Review (IFR) Awards 2017. Teams from Kirkland’s London office represented the issuer in Maxeda DIY Holding’s €475 millon senior notes offering, which was named “Europe High-Yield Bond” of the year, and Lone Star Funds in its €1.625 billion loan to finance the acquisition of Xella, which won the “EMEA Leveraged Loan” award.
