Dealmakers of the Year 2018
The American Lawyer selected Kirkland & Ellis corporate partner Andrew Calder as a 2018 “Dealmaker of the Year” for his work negotiating the $18.8 billion sale of Energy Future Holdings to Sempra Energy. Honorees are recognized for creative lawyering to novel issues of law in the deals that mattered most in 2017.
