Kirkland Represents Bain Capital and Viewpoint in Sale of Viewpoint to Trimble Inc.

Kirkland & Ellis represented private equity firm Bain Capital and its portfolio company Viewpoint, a leading provider of scalable construction management software, which have entered into an agreement to sell Viewpoint to Trimble Inc. (NASDAQ: TRMB). The all-cash transaction is valued at $1.2 billion. The acquisition will extend Trimble's ability to provide more complete and integrated project, jobsite and business workflows across the construction lifecycle.
