Dr. Anthony Khong is a scientific advisor with Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a B.Sc. in Chemistry and received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Yale. He is a USPTO registered Patent Agent. He conducted research on the spectroscopic characterization and synthesis of Buckminster fullerene analogs. He also performed post-doctoral research in mechanical engineering in the field of physical acoustics, and studied energy production with sonoluminescence. Anthony has been a scientific advisor since 2004, with primary experience in Hatch-Waxman matters for both brand and generic drug entities. In this capacity, he supports the analysis of technical data, drafting of expert reports, expert depositions, inter partes review and trials.
