Overview

Omer Mir is a principal in Kirkland’s Platform Solutions Group, which leverages the Firm’s global platform to track market developments, transaction themes and industry dynamics, delivering data-driven market intelligence and strategic advisory services to private capital sponsors.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Omer spent almost a decade at McKinsey & Company, leading engagements for private equity sponsors and corporates across North America and the Middle East. His work spanned the full deal lifecycle: rigorous commercial diligence, strategic acquisition planning, operational transformation and successful exits across high-growth sectors such as healthcare, technology and business services.

Omer holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He partners closely with Kirkland lawyers and deal teams to provide incisive strategic analysis and actionable insights across the private capital ecosystem.
