A Jam-Packed Week of Litigator of the Week Runners-Up and Shout Outs

Partners Jay Lefkowitz, Devora Allon, Kevin Neylan and James Hileman received a shout-out for The American Lawyer Litigation Daily's "Litigator of the Week" contest for their work for Impax. 

"... Shout out to lawyers at Dechert and Kirkland & Ellis, representing Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Impax Laboratories LLC respectively, for getting the dismissal of an antitrust case filed by the Federal Trade Commission upheld last week at the D.C. Circuit. The appellate court held that the type of licensing deal targeted by the FTC—one where a single patentee granted an exclusive license—is explicitly allowed under the Patent Act. Dechert’s George Gordon argued the case for Endo with colleagues Michael McGinley, Julia Chapman and John McClam joining him on the briefs. Kirkland’s Jay Lefkowitz argued for Impax with Devora Allon, Kevin Neylan and James Hileman on the briefs."
