2008 IAOP Governance Forum

The 2008 IAOP Governance Forum will be held on Tuesday, September 9 at the Marriott Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile. The forum will cover the various aspects of outsourcing governance, including relationship management, delivery oversight and risk management.

Kirkland partner Neil S. Hirshman will be presenting "Contracts and Governance – Oil and Water or Oil and Vinegar?" In a joint presentation, Mr. Hirshman and Jagdish R. Dalal, Managing Director Thought Leadership, IAOP, will share their thoughts on how an outsourcing contract enables good governance and is not an impediment. Among other topics, they will debate the merits and challenges associated with service level credits and rewards and their use as incentives for good governance and performance.
