Chicago-Kent College of Law 26th Annual Federal Tax Institute

The Chicago-Kent College of Law 26th Annual Federal Tax Institute, held in Chicago on May 3-4, 2007, was a two day advanced level program designed for experienced practitioners.  Presenters included nationally recognized tax advisors who provided a comprehensive update on recent developments and their impact on tax planning, compliance and controversy techniques.

Kirkland partner Todd Maynes moderated the discussions on “Federal Tax Law Developments,” “State and Local Tax Developments,” "Procedural Developments,” and “Developments in Accounting for Income Taxes.”  Kirkland partner Donald Rocap served as a panelist on “Corporate Reorganizations, Spin Offs and Merger & Acquisition Transactions: Tax Planning for Healthy Corporations.”
