PEI Infrastructure Investor: New York
PEI’s Infrastructure Investor: New York will be held October 22-23, 2008 at the New York Marriott Downtown. The forum will explore the unique skill sets and expertise needed to successfully acquire and manage infrastructure assets on a global basis. Some of the key themes that will be covered are deal flow, infrastructure debt financing and diversifying infrastructure fund investment portfolios.
Kirkland partners Bruce Gelman and Tom Geraghty will lead the workshop "State of the Art Structuring for Infrastructure Funds and Investments." They will discuss key issues, such as the difference between open and closed ended funds, and how to enhance the after-tax return to investors. Kirkland partner Robert Buday will moderate the closing panel "Are we in a bubble? Threats and opportunities for investors in infrastructure investing," which will discuss capital overhang, regulation, and risks facing financiers.
