American Bankruptcy Institute’s 14th Annual New York City Bankruptcy Conference

The American Bankruptcy Institute will hold its 14th Annual New York City Bankruptcy Conference on May 9, 2012 at the New York Marriott Marquis.  The conference will explore the current and emerging developments in restructuring and will offer a unique networking opportunity for restructuring and insolvency practitioners.  Topics will include, "How Are the Lower Courts Dealing with Stern v. Marshall?," "Subjecting Business Projections to Scrutiny in Valuation Disputes" and "How to Conduct a Better Sale Process: 363 Sale Issues and Bid Procedures," among others.

Kirkland partner Ray C. Schrock will participate as a panelist on the discussion entitled "Use of Forfeiture Statute and Allocation of Forfeiture Proceeds in Ponzi Scheme Bankruptcies and Other Cases Involving Fraud and Bad Acts."
