Kirkland will sponsor the 24th Annual Columbia Business School Private Equity Conference. The conference will focus on the emerging challenges and opportunities facing the private equity and venture capital industries in the coming year. The event will bring together industry professionals, students, alumni and faculty to share their knowledge and experiences. This year’s keynote speakers are Prakash Melwani, Chief Investment Officer at Blackstone, and David Lobell, Founder and Managing Partner at Sentinel Capital. Srinivas Kaushik will be moderating the Leveraged Buyout panel. Partners Stephanie Berdik and David Nemecek, with Ben Schryber from Carlyle will give a lunchtime presentation, “Cracking the Credit Code: Trends in Private Debt.”
