Women’s Alternative Investment Summit

On November 13, 2019–November 14, 2019, Kirkland partners Melissa Hutson, Nicole Washington, Laura Sullivan and Nadia Murad will speak at the 11th annual Women’s Alternative Investment Summit at The Plaza in New York, NY.

Melissa will moderate “SPOTLIGHT ON CREDIT...Financing the Deal: Weighing the Impact of a Downturn on Leveraged Lending,” and Laura will moderate “KEEP AN EYE IN 2020 ON… Health Care Investing." Nicole will co-lead the pre-conference forum “Breaking the Private Equity/Alternatives Glass Ceiling: Why Women Investing in Women-Led Firms Is the Answer," and Nadia will interview keynote speaker Maya Chorengel, Senior Partner, Impact and Financial Services Sector Lead, TPG's The Rise Fund, one of the world's largest impact funds ever raised. The conference welcomes women from private equity and alternative investment backgrounds and the women in the professional services industry who advise them. Topics of discussion will also include the economy, investing wisely, managing portfolios, and how best to support and cultivate relationships with other women in the industry.
