The National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges
The National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges (NCBJ) will host its Annual Conference on October 7–10, 2026 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. This year’s conference theme is “Honoring Our Past, Shaping Our Future: NCBJ at 100” and will bring together top bankruptcy judges, practitioners and scholars to reflect on NCBJ’s 100th anniversary and the nation’s 250th year.
Kirkland partner Josh Sussberg will speak on the “Feasibility in the 21st Century: LMEs, Chapter 22s, Future Claims and Other Puzzles” panel. Kirkland partner Anup Sathy will participate in the “Decide or Decline? Bankruptcy Court Jurisdiction: When Does It Start – And When Does It End?” panel.
