Represents General Motors in litigation in federal and state courts against competitor, former executives and former union officials arising from a scheme to corrupt labor negotiations, which has resulted in more than a dozen criminal convictions.  

Represents Toll Brothers, Inc. and Porter Ranch Development Company in coordinated litigation against major utility arising from the Aliso Canyon gas leak, the largest gas leak in American history.

Represented Actavis (n/k/a Allergan) in two-week federal trial in which the plaintiff sought more than $78 million in damages for alleged injuries from Androderm, a testosterone replacement drug. After deliberating for less than an hour, the jury returned a complete defense verdict for Actavis.

Represented plaintiffs in certified class action against the City of Houston arising from the City’s detention of class members for days with no judicial determination of probable cause.

Represented asylum seeker from Guatemala at contested hearing in the first known instance of a positive judicial determination of withholding of removal under the Convention Against Torture for a parent detained under the U.S. government’s “zero tolerance” family separation policy.
