Prior to joining Kirkland, Georgi worked on the following representative matters:

• Advising a NYSE-listed automotive technology company on international legal matters in connection with its acquisition by a private equity fund and a global chip manufacturer in a US$4.5 billion transaction.
• Advising a global asset manager on the corporate and regulatory aspects of the group’s EMEA restructuring as part of its Brexit contingency plans.
• Advised a private equity group on its €1.2 billion acquisition of a leading German retail company.
• Advised a global investment firm on the divestiture of one of its portfolio companies, an IT service provider.
• Advising a global advisory and brokerage firm on its attempted merger with a global insurance company with a transaction volume of US$30 billion.
• Advising a global entertainment group on various transactions concerning the acquisition of German companies organising festivals and managing artists performances.
• Advising a major international bank on the strategic cross-border disposal of a portfolio of US$1 billion of shipping loans spread across a diversified pool of maritime sectors and sponsors.
