Overview

Yvonne Beeler is an intellectual property partner focusing on patent, trade secret, and copyright litigation. Yvonne is a trial lawyer with experience in all phases of U.S. District Court litigation, from pre-suit analysis through trial and appeal. She also has experience in International Trade Commission (ITC) Section 337 proceedings and Hatch-Waxman (ANDA) litigation. Several of Yvonne’s cases involve overseas corporations based in Asia and Europe.

Yvonne was recently part of trial team that won a $764.6 million jury verdict after a 100-day trade secret misappropriation and copyright infringement trial. Yvonne has defended complex multi-patent cases filed by aggressive assertion entities in key venues, such as the Eastern District of Texas and District of Delaware. Yvonne’s work has covered a wide range of complex technologies, including semiconductor fabrication techniques, microprocessors, digital two-way communications and standards, laser printing, touchscreen technology, pharmaceuticals, and automotive safety technology.

In law school, Yvonne was an extern for the Patent Pilot Program in the Central District of California. Under the program, district judges volunteer and are designated by the Chief Judge of the district to receive patent cases.

Before law school, Yvonne served as a Captain in the United States Army and received the Bronze Star Medal and Combat Action Badge for her combat service in Afghanistan.
