Overview

Scott Berman is a corporate associate in the Philadelphia office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, growth-stage and strategic companies and venture capital, corporate venture capital and other strategic investors on matters ranging from mergers and acquisitions, investments, recapitalizations and other complex transactions. Scott’s experience spans early-stage and growth equity investments to multibillion-dollar transactions. He also represents entrepreneurs and emerging growth companies through each stage of their lifecycle, serving as outside general counsel to businesses seeking to navigate various inflection points and a wide variety of general corporate matters. With an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Scott brings a unique blend of legal and business perspectives to provide commercial and practical solutions for his clients across various industries, including technology, life sciences, healthcare and financial services.
