Overview

Raphaël Bloch is an investment funds partner in the Paris office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Mr. Bloch advises investment fund European sponsors on the establishment and operation of funds and separate accounts across the alternative asset spectrum including private equity, credit and real assets as well as on GP-led fund restructurings and other liquidity solutions transactions. Mr. Bloch also has deep experience with the establishment of fund management companies, carried interest and co-investment schemes specific to France.

  • PAI Partners on the strategic minority investment in its business by Dyal Capital

Prior to joining Kirkland, Raphaël worked on the following matters:

  • Apax Partners on the formation of:

    • PAI Mid-Market Fund, closed at €920 million

  • Five Arrows Principal Investments on the formation of Five Arrows Secondary Opportunity V, closed at €1 billion
