George Cartveli is an employment & labor associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
George primarily practices transactional labor and employment law by assisting clients on complex national and international corporate transactions, including negotiating and drafting labor and employment provisions of purchase agreements, conducting acquisition-related due diligence, and assessing a target’s labor and employment law compliance and risks. He routinely counsels clients on post-acquisition and workforce integration issues, compliance with wage and hour laws, restrictive covenants, employment separation agreements, and other labor and employment matters. In his transactional and counseling practice, George draws upon his comprehensive experience representing employers against claims brought by current and former employees in courts and before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
