Greenlun v. Chico’s FAS, Inc.: Representing Chico’s and its former CEO in a putative shareholder class action arising out of Sycamore Partners’ $1 billion take-private acquisition of the company.
In re SQRL Service Stations, LLC: Represented Blue Owl, a leading asset management firm, and its respective landlord entities in a dispute with SQRL Service Stations LLC and SQRL Holdings LLC regarding enforcement of leases for a portfolio of gas station assets.
TNG Holdings, LLC v. GPI Sunny Isles Capital Group, LLC: Represented hotelier in dispute with developer over large-scale mixed use development project in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.*
Herskowitz v. BLNK Holdings, LLC: Represented investor in Blink Charging Co., a global leader in EV charging equipment, in dispute regarding issuance of corporate stock. Obtained pre-judgment writ of replevin on investor’s behalf requiring immediate turnover of $10 million worth of shares.*
Five Seas Investors, Inc. v. La Perla Condominium Ass’n, Inc.: Represented hotelier in dispute with neighboring oceanfront condominium tower on Miami Beach regarding restrictive easements/covenants and air rights.*
Mizner Court Holdings, LLC et al. v. Country Club Maintenance Association, Inc.: Represented Board of Directors of Palm Beach golf club community in claims for breach of restrictive covenants brought by real estate developer who owned neighboring multi-family properties. Successfully negotiated class action-style settlement on behalf of master-planned community.*
Negron v. Ascension Health: Representing Ascension, national healthcare system, in consolidated putative class action and companion state court cases related to recent cybersecurity incident.
Debrincat v. Fischer: Authored amicus brief on behalf of property owner, which was largely adopted by the Florida Supreme Court, in a case of first impression regarding Florida’s litigation privilege.
Represented various companies in defending Section 220 and other similar books and records actions brought by shareholders.
Counseled several private equity clients and their portfolio companies with regard to various employment and corporate issues.

JR Records, LLC v. Carbon Fiber Music, Inc., et al.: Represented reggaeton artist Farruko and label Carbon Fiber Records in claims of copyright infringement.*
Finch v. EMI Consortium Songs, Inc. & Harry Casey: Represented Harry Casey, frontman of “KC & The Sunshine Band” in suit brought by former bandmate involving copyright termination and royalty rights. Won case on summary judgment in federal district court. Decision was affirmed on appeal by the Eleventh Circuit and denied further review by the Supreme Court of the United States.*
Antarctica Films Argentina, S.A. v. Gaia, Inc.: Represented Antarctica Films in claims for copyright infringement brought against streaming company in relation to television series and related film.*
Deloitte Consulting LLP and Deloitte Development LLC v. Sagitec Solutions LLC: Represented Deloitte in a copyright, trade secret and unfair competition case concerning use of its unemployment insurance software by a competitor.
