Since joining Kirkland, Baxter has worked on the following select representative matters:
Comvest Credit Partners on the sale of 75% of its private credit business to Manulife Financial Corporation for $937 million in upfront consideration, additional consideration of up to $337 million, contingent on achieving certain performance targets, and the ability to purchase the remaining 25% through a put/call mechanism.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Baxter worked on the following select representative matters:
Assisted in the spinout of an independent healthcare investment management firm.
Assisted in a hostile change of control transaction for a fund manager.
Assisted in multiple fund launches and fund raises.
