• Supported successful representation of organic food manufacturer in state and federal court products liability litigation
• Counsel for laboratory diagnostics company in federal court involving claims of unfair business practices and breach of contract
• Supported successful representation of real estate investment company in federal court trade secrets litigation
• Assisted with dispositive briefing in state court cases alleging product liability claims against multinational manufacturing company

Prior to joining Kirkland, Sydney was involved in the following pro bono matters:

• Prisoner civil rights litigation in federal and state court (habeas corpus petition in federal court, petition for clemency and letter in support thereof, lawsuit alleging prison ADA violations in failing to comply with Proximity to Minor Children Act)
• Partnerships with non-profit co-counsel (addressing antisemitism in K-12 public schools; class action for inadequate state indigent defense funding)
