Prior to joining Kirkland, Emma worked on the following matters:
advising a leading European regional property fund and asset management business on the establishment of UK-specific, French-specific and pan-European real estate funds and investment structuring arrangements
advising a top global investment manager on the establishment of a dual Cayman-Luxembourg opportunistic and value-add real estate fund and investment structuring arrangements in 7 European jurisdictions
advising a global PE firm on its first third party fundraising of equity capital for mid-sized companies in German-speaking Europe, including running concurrent side letter negotiations with 20+ investors
advising leading private equity houses on tax aspects of acquisitions, disposals and bolt-ons
advising on equity incentive arrangements for UK-resident employees and drafting tax-advantaged and non-tax advantaged option agreements and related documents
