Overview

Matthew Goulding is a corporate partner in the San Francisco office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Matthew’s practice focuses on private equity mergers and acquisition transactions, including leveraged buy-outs of public and private acquisition targets, sale transactions, equity financings, minority investments and debt financings. Matthew also represents private and public companies in strategic mergers and acquisition transactions. In addition to his M&A experience, Matthew has represented financial sponsors, issuers and investors in a broad range of corporate matters, including complex restructurings, capital markets transactions, and high-yield debt offerings. Matthew also represents private equity portfolio companies in routine corporate and governance matters.
