Brad A. Green is an investment funds partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Brad counsels clients in connection with developing, structuring and operating registered funds, privately-offered retail vehicles and business development companies (BDCs) that provide access to retail and high-net-worth asset management platforms and invest across a spectrum of asset classes and strategies, including private and public equity, venture capital, private credit, asset-based lending, structured credit and infrastructure.

Brad’s practice focuses on the representation of alternative products such as tender offer and interval funds, funds of funds, BDCs, retail 3(c)(7) funds, holding companies and other public reporting vehicles that offer access to private market investments via primary, secondary, direct and/or co-investment opportunities.

He also serves as counsel to investment funds and their independent board members, as well as investment advisers and sponsors, and advises them on a broad range of transactional and ongoing regulatory and compliance matters arising under the federal securities laws. Brad regularly helps operating companies and other issuers navigate various considerations under the Investment Company Act in connection with initial public offerings and corporate M&A and finance transactions.

In addition, Brad represents investment management clients in connection with SEC examinations, investigations and enforcement proceedings and private litigation.

Brad served on the Board of Directors of Union Settlement, a nonprofit organization founded in 1895 that provides education, wellness and community-building services and programs to East Harlem residents, from 2020 to 2024.
